MAHSHAHR, Sept. 24 (NIPNA) – Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Co. (PGPIC) has launched a scholarship program for 1,000 students in Iran’s key petrochemical hubs of Mahshahr and Asaluyeh as part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives.

PGPIC CEO Mohammad Shariatmadari said the beneficiaries, all talented students from grades 8 to 12, were identified through a talent assessment program and will receive full educational support starting this academic year.

The move follows directives from Iran’s Petroleum Minister to prioritize welfare in operational areas and aligns with government efforts to upgrade educational infrastructure through social responsibility funding, the report said.
