NPC CEO Urges Greater Alignment among Holdings to Boost Output, Exports

TEHRAN (NIPNA) – Iran’s deputy petroleum minister and head of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC) has called for stronger cooperation and alignment among petrochemical holdings to support growth in production and exports, state media reported on Wednesday.


Hassan Abbaszadeh, NPC’s managing director, made the remarks during a visit to Shastan Investment Group’s petrochemical complexes in Assaluyeh, accompanied by Saeed Sadeghi Ghooghri, head of the Armed Forces Social Security Organization.

According to the report, the delegation toured several plants and reviewed both current production levels and progress on expansion projects. Executives from companies including Arya Sasol Polymer, Bushehr Petrochemical, Damavand Energy Assaluyeh, Marjan Petrochemical, Asaluyeh Green Tanks, Polypropylene, and Sepehr Makran briefed the officials on operations and development plans.

Abbaszadeh stressed that closer collaboration and synergy among petrochemical holdings was essential to enhance efficiency, increase competitiveness, and ensure the steady growth of Iran’s petrochemical exports.
