The session was convened under the supervision of
the National Petrochemical Company’s (NPC) inspection and complaints management
office, in coordination with other supervisory bodies such as the General
Inspection Organization, according to the report.
Officials said the meeting focused on aligning inspection
policies, enhancing accountability, and standardising complaint-handling
mechanisms across both government-held and privatised petrochemical companies
to ensure consistent practices for stakeholders.
The council also discussed measures to promote administrative
integrity, prevent corruption, and draw on successful compliance models from
within the sector.

Holding, the session included participation from several major entities,
including Shastan Investment, Tamin Petroleum & Petrochemical Investment
Co. (TAPICO), Ghadir Investment, Petrofarhang, Parsian Oil & Gas, Saba
Energy and the Petrochemical Research & Technology Company.
The meeting concluded with the adoption of 12
resolutions, which will be pursued in future oversight initiatives.
