TEHRAN, Sept 11 (NIPNA) – IranPlast 19 provided a critical platform for domestic manufacturers to showcase their capabilities and explore export opportunities, according to Hussein Mirzaei, CEO of Novin Sanat Machinery.
Speaking at the exhibition, Mirzaei highlighted the company’s long-standing engagement in the industrial recycling of plastic products and granules, with a track record of exporting equipment to Caspian region countries including Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, and Azerbaijan. Despite 23 years in operation, the company continues to employ more than 20 skilled workers.
“Exhibitions like IranPlast are essential for presenting our products and for networking with foreign partners. Many of our international connections have been forged at this event,” Mirzaei said. He noted that while the company imports only the motor component, all other machinery parts are manufactured domestically.
Mırzaei urged targeted government support to enhance marketing and export opportunities for Iranian companies, suggesting that inviting foreign trade delegations during exhibitions could provide vital market exposure. “Supporting such initiatives is the best way to recognize the resilience and perseverance of our domestic industries under current economic pressures,” he added.
The CEO emphasized that IranPlast not only serves as a platform to display innovation in petrochemical and polymer machinery but also functions as a strategic gateway for expanding exports. “Iran’s technological advancement in plastics, fibers, and related industries positions us ahead of neighboring countries, creating significant potential for regional trade,” Mirzaei concluded.
