TEHRAN, Sept 11 (NIPNA) – IranPlast 2025 provided a platform for expanding industrial cooperation and technology exchange between Iran and Iraq, with Iraqi companies expressing strong interest in sourcing Iranian plastic products and expertise.
Razgar Hama, CEO of Rasn Plastic in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, told NIPNA at the sidelines of the 19th IranPlast exhibition that this marked the company’s second participation in the event and offered a valuable opportunity to engage with Iranian manufacturers specializing in plastics and related equipment.
“The exhibition allows us to explore new technologies in plastic injection and associated products, particularly in specialized colors and compounds,” Hama said. “We received valuable information from Iranian companies that can directly enhance our operations.”
Hama highlighted plans to import Iranian plastic products into the Kurdistan Region, leveraging Iran’s manufacturing capabilities. He said prior collaborations with Iranian companies have been positive and professional, and he expressed optimism for expanding these partnerships in the future.
He added that IranPlast not only showcases Iranian products but also fosters bilateral technology transfer and industrial cooperation. Hama emphasized the potential for Iranian manufacturers to enter Iraqi markets with unique products not produced in China or other countries, offering a strategic advantage for regional trade.
“This exhibition can serve as a starting point for long-term, meaningful collaborations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq,” he said.
