TEHRAN (NIPNA) – The chief executive of Tabriz Petrochemical Company (TPC) praised the successful staging of the 19th IranPlast International Exhibition, describing it as a turning point for the country’s petrochemical sector and a strategic platform to showcase national capabilities.

Seyed Norollah Mirashrafi said IranPlast, held this week in Tehran with the participation of more than 700 domestic and 67 foreign firms, had reinforced its position as one of West Asia’s most prominent polymer industry events.
“For Tabriz Petrochemical, IranPlast represents a strategic opportunity to present our technical and engineering services, introduce diverse polymer products, enhance our brand, and deepen both domestic and international partnerships,” Mirashrafi said.
The company, one of Iran’s leading polymer producers, reported strong engagement at its exhibition stand, which drew delegations of business leaders, traders and decision-makers from across the oil and petrochemical value chain. Discussions centered on product development, exports, and technology cooperation.
Mirashrafi also extended his appreciation to Hassan Abbaszadeh, deputy petroleum minister and head of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC), and commended NPC’s public relations team for what he described as the professional and well-coordinated organization of the exhibition.
He added that the event had “once again reaffirmed Tabriz Petrochemical’s standing as a major player in Iran’s petrochemical industry” and highlighted prospects for growth through “scientific, specialized and collaborative approaches.”
IranPlast, launched in 2002, has evolved into the country’s largest polymer industry gathering, drawing international exhibitors and buyers despite Western sanctions that have restricted parts of Iran’s energy sector.
