The final match, hosted by Abadan Oil Refining Company, saw the
defending champions edge past their rivals 3-2, replicating the same scoreline
from the first leg to seal the overall victory.
The opening doubles match saw Nima and Noshad Alamiyan defeating Arya
Amiri and Amirhossein Hedayati, giving Petrochemical an early lead. However,
Palayesh Naft quickly responded, with Benyamin Faraji overcoming Afshin Norouzi
to level the score.
Tensions rose in the third match as Noshad Alamiyan fell to
Amirhossein Hedayati, putting Palayesh Naft ahead 2-1. But Hamidreza Taherkhani
kept Petrochemical’s hopes alive by defeating Soroush Amirinia, setting the
stage for a decisive fifth match.
Nima Alamiyan stepped up once again, defeating Arya Amiri to clinch
both the match and the championship title for Petrochemical Bandar Imam. The
team, led by coach Vahid Kazeminejad, retained the crown by winning both legs
of the final series.
The 33rd edition of the league featured seven teams and concluded with
Petrochemical Bandar Imam in first place, Palayesh Naft Abadan as runners-up,
and a shared third place between Naft-rich Regions Team and Ra’d Air Defense.
The final was officiated by referees Dariush Zorghampour and Alireza
Hejazi.
