“Stable and safe gas transmission is a cornerstone of economic
progress and social welfare,” said Saeed Tavakkoli on Monday, July 7, during a
meeting with managers and staff in the western region. He praised the efforts
of NIGC personnel, attributing the resilience of the transmission network to
their round-the-clock dedication, expertise, and responsibility.
Tavakkoli stressed the need for operational readiness in emergency
situations, calling for strict adherence to safety, maintenance, and repair
protocols. “Maintaining gas transmission stability requires a combination of
scientific management and relentless national commitment,” he noted.
He also visited the instrumentation workshop, where he underscored the
importance of equipping specialized facilities with modern technologies.
Tavakkoli said upgrading infrastructure and fully utilizing knowledge
management capabilities are vital for enhancing network reliability.
Operational Zone Maintains Maximum Preparedness
Asadollah Mehri, director of Operational Zone 2, presented a detailed
report on recent repair, maintenance, and modernization projects in the area.
He highlighted the successful implementation of overhaul operations and
emphasized the role of skilled regional personnel in maintaining peak
operational readiness.
“Thanks to the tireless efforts of our teams, we have sustained the
highest levels of reliability in our transmission lines,” Mehri said.
Tavakkoli also paid tribute to the martyrs of the recent 12-day war
and the month of Muharram, stating that their sacrifices remain a source of
inspiration for the company’s mission of uninterrupted service.
