TEHRAN (NIPNA) – Iran’s Securities and Exchange Organization has officially approved the conversion of Modabberan Eghtesad Investment Company into a financial group, in line with the strategic roadmap of Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Co. (PGPIC), the company said on Tuesday.

The restructured entity will operate under the new name Pishgaman Sarmaye Khalij Fars Financial Group, following its official registration with Tehran’s Companies Registration Office, according to a statement from PGPIC’s public relations office.

The transformation marks a significant step in enhancing the group's financial services, improving efficiency, and creating added value across PGPIC’s operations. The change comes after sustained efforts by the management, board of directors, and staff of Modabberan Eghtesad.

The newly named financial group is tasked with expanding financial operations, supporting PGPIC’s portfolio companies and projects, and driving greater synergy in investment activities. Pishgaman Sarmaye Khalij Fars aims to play a more pivotal role in the group’s value chain through specialized expertise, innovative financial solutions, and stronger engagement with Iran’s capital market.
