TEHRAN (NIPNA) -- A technical, engineering, and educational cooperation agreement was signed between Iranian company ISEDCO (Sahpan Iranian Energy Development Company) and a leading Chinese company, marking a significant step in the field of polymer and petrochemical technology.

The agreement, which was finalized on the first day of the 29th Iran International Oil, Gas, Refining, and Petrochemical Exhibition, was signed in the presence of Hassan Abbaszadeh, Deputy Minister of Petroleum and CEO of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC), and Seyed Jafar Hashemi, Director of Pars Oil and Gas Development Group.

According to Mohammad Mehdi Omrani, CEO of ISEDCO, the agreement will focus on the transfer of technical knowledge, licensing, localizing registered technologies in the polymer and petrochemical sectors, providing engineering services, and overseeing installation and commissioning processes. The agreement also includes the integration of basic and detailed engineering services, supply of equipment, and human resource training.

Omrani emphasized that this collaboration could play a key role in enhancing productivity and reducing dependence on foreign technology imports.

ISEDCO, a subsidiary of the Pars Oil and Gas Development Group, aims to implement this agreement with the Chinese company by leveraging cutting-edge technologies and transferring knowledge. Thanks to the strong cooperation between the two countries, the partnership will facilitate working with other currencies, unaffected by sanctions.
