During an
official visit to petrochemical terminals and facilities in the Asaluyeh region
on Tuesday, Abbaszadeh reviewed ongoing operations and inspected key
infrastructure, including jetties 7, 8, and 12, Pars Petrochemical Port, and
the water unit of Damavand Energy Company.
He emphasized the
need for comprehensive safety measures across terminals, jetties, and storage
facilities to prevent any future incidents. “All necessary precautions must be
taken to ensure operational safety,” he stated.
In line with
these efforts, the Deputy Minister issued directives for organizing specialized
training programs for personnel working at petrochemical ports, terminals, and
storage facilities to enhance technical capabilities and safety compliance.
This visit
reflects the Ministry’s continued focus on operational resilience and support
for strategic maritime logistics hubs such as Shahid Rajaee Port.
