Speaking on the
sidelines of the 7th Iran Expo, the Chinese executive remarked on his company’s
first-ever participation in the Iranian market. He conveyed a strong desire to
engage in oil, natural gas, and petrochemical sectors, particularly emphasizing
the purchase of methanol and even crude oil from Iran.
“During our
negotiations with Iranian companies, specialists, and stakeholders at this
event, we have identified numerous opportunities for cooperation,” he stated.
According to
NIPNA, the 7th Iran Expo officially opened on April 28, 2025, with political
and business delegations from 111 countries, including 190 government officials
and over 3,100 international businesspeople and traders.
More than 1,000
Iranian companies are showcasing their export capabilities during the event,
which serves as a strategic platform for trade dialogue and political
engagement aimed at securing new agreements.
As Iran’s largest
trade event, Iran Expo provides a unique opportunity to forge new commercial
partnerships. The strong international presence and high turnout underscore
Iran’s significant potential and standing in the global marketplace.
This exhibition
highlights the export capabilities of Iranian firms across various sectors,
including goods, technical services, and engineering solutions.
The petrochemical
sector’s achievements are being showcased in four main categories: methanol,
urea, chemicals, and polymers.
The event runs
through May 2, 2025, at Tehran’s International Permanent Fairground.
