SHANGHAI (NIPNA) – Hassan Abbaszadeh, Iran’s Deputy Minister of Petroleum and CEO of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC), conducted a visit to China’s advanced logistics facilities on the sidelines of Chinaplas 2025, coinciding with Iran’s National Day at the exhibition.

Accompanied by representatives from major petrochemical holdings, Abbaszadeh toured the Taicang Port, Feima Warehouse, and Feisu Port, assessing China’s state-of-the-art infrastructure and exploring future collaboration opportunities with Chinese companies.

According to the report, Feisu Port, with its 300-meter-long terminal, 12-meter water depth, and 14-hectare hinterland, has the capacity to handle over 2.5 million tons of goods annually, welcoming more than 160 vessels each year. The port can accommodate ships with a capacity of up to 150,000 tons.

Feima Warehouse, known for its modern facilities, boasts a storage capacity of 200,000 tons of polymers and plastics. It is equipped with a fully automated repackaging line and employs innovative solutions for cargo handling, including big bag transfers, bulk carriers, and a 180-degree pallet rotation system for efficient cargo sorting.

The visit underscored the strengthening of trade ties and potential logistics collaborations between Iran and China.
