The environmental drive, which began on March 29 and continued through
April 3, covered a 4-kilometer stretch across 16 hectares of coastline—an area
heavily frequented by tourists during the Nowruz holidays. The effort involved
staff from multiple departments of Mobin Energy’s industrial complex, including
administration, public relations, transportation, HSE, and local municipal
services.
This phase follows a successful initial operation held in March 2024,
during which over five tonnes of waste were collected and sorted in cooperation
with environmental authorities. For the first time, the cleanup campaign has
been structured around both pre- and post-holiday phases to maximize impact.
Officials described the activity as a meaningful expression of
environmental and spiritual responsibility, combining the symbolic significance
of Eid with broader sustainability goals. The initiative highlights Mobin
Energy’s ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility and
environmental stewardship in the ecologically sensitive Persian Gulf coastal
region.
