Speaking on Friday, April 4, 2025, during a session at Fajr Energy
Company within the Special Economic Zone, Mowlizadeh confirmed that there are
no further obstacles to supplying water for the next phase of development. He
also called on the Department of Environment to expedite the necessary
permitting processes to allow immediate commencement.
Phase II of the zone, spanning 3,300 hectares, is planned to encompass
operations across the upstream, midstream, and downstream petrochemical value
chain.
