BIPC Breaks 6-Year Output, Export Record

TEHRAN (NIPNA) -- Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company (BIPC) has achieved its highest production level in six years, marking a significant milestone for the facility in 1403 which ended on March 21.

The company reported reaching approximately 4.873 million tons of production in the year, representing a 36% increase compared to the preceding year, and the highest production figure seen in the last six years. This accomplishment underscores the company’s ongoing commitment to achieving its broader production goals.

Achieving 95% of Production Target:
A key indicator of Bandar Imam Petrochemical’s success has been its consistent growth in production. In the past year, the facility met 95% of its production targets, reflecting its operational capability and commitment to reaching pre-set objectives.

Export Record: $2.3 Billion in Revenue Over Three Years
In addition to its production success, Bandar Imam Petrochemical also broke records in export volumes. In 2025, the company exported over 1.4 million tons, surpassing its export record from the past six years. These exports generated $924 million in revenue, contributing significantly to Iran’s non-oil export economy.

Over the past three years, the petrochemical facility has earned a total of $2.3 billion in export revenues, showcasing its pivotal role in supporting Iran’s economic resilience and efforts to diversify its exports away from oil.

These achievements highlight Bandar Imam Petrochemical's significant contribution to the national economy, as it continues to strengthen its position in the petrochemical sector while supporting economic self-sufficiency.
