Ilam Petchem Plant Breaks Production Record for 2 Consecutive Months

TEHRAN (NIPNA) -- Ilam Petrochemical Company has set a new production record for two consecutive months, exceeding previous output levels despite a major overhaul in the calendar year of 1403 which ended on March 21.

According to the company's public relations office, the plant produced over 29,000 tons of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) in February 2025 and more than 30,000 tons in March 2025, surpassing past monthly figures.

Total production for 1403 reached 278,000 tons, marking a significant increase from 228,000 tons in 1402, despite undergoing extensive maintenance.
