The office was officially opened on Monday in a ceremony attended by
Hassan Abbaszadeh, Deputy Petroleum Minister and CEO of the National
Petrochemical Company (NPC), along with Mohammad Sadegh Jokar, President of the
Institute for International Energy Studies.
The newly established center seeks to foster joint collaborations in
the petrochemical industry, facilitate experience-sharing, and monitor and
diagnose challenges facing Iran’s petrochemical sector.
One of the primary objectives of the Petrochemical House is to
leverage expertise from think tanks and academic networks. The center will work
closely with research groups and benefit from the strategic role of NPC to
ensure effective policy implementation and industry development.
Functioning as an intelligent monitoring hub, the Petrochemical House
is set to integrate data-driven forecasting, trend analysis, and strategic
modeling. By strengthening connections with academic institutions and advancing
future-oriented studies, the center aims to accelerate the petrochemical
sector’s growth in line with national policy targets.
