According to the Special Petrochemical Economic Zone Organization,
Payam Barzegar stated that with the efforts of knowledge-based companies, “we
will create an innovation factory in the region. One of the lofty goals for the
development of the petrochemical industry is to use the capacity of
knowledge-based companies to overcome problems, remove obstacles and jump in
production and export.”
He added: “For this purpose, we are looking to create an innovation
factory in the Petrochemical Special Economic Zone. There is a huge capacity of
$30 billion in the Petrochemical Special Economic Zone for the presence and
effective activity of knowledge-based companies.”
The CEO of the Special Petrochemical Economic Zone Organization
stated: “The technological needs of the petrochemical companies in the region
have been calculated and provided to the knowledge-based companies. Certainly,
the KBCs will play an essential role in the petrochemical industry and create
good and forward-looking changes in the Petrochemical Special Economic Zone.”
