Mahyar Naderi, caretaker of the development of
knowledge-based businesses and construction at NPC, said: “In line with the
realization of the year's slogan and the Supreme Leader's instructions to turn
the country’s industries into knowledge-based, Petrochemical Industry
Self-Sufficiency Center has been launched with the aim of benefiting from
knowledge-based and technology companies, domestic manufacturers and
universities and research centers, by aggregating the activities of in-house
manufacturing of equipment and spare parts needed by the industry, AVL
Petrochemical Industry and the development of knowledge-based businesses.”
Emphasizing the importance of realizing domestic
manufacturing plans for the first time in the petrochemical industry, he added:
“Important goals and activities for this center have been formulated, which are
the statistics of the equipment and spare parts needed by the petrochemical
industry, identification of domestic and knowledge-based manufacturing
capabilities, and the coordination of supply and demand in this field.”
