Davoud Emadi stated: “Iran's petrochemical
industry is following the path of development according to the plans made, and
in this context, the development plans must comply with and implement
environmental regulations and guidelines, and NPC will also make the necessary
supervision routine.”
Stating that the petrochemical industry is one of
the leading industries in the field of environment, he said: “In addition to
the standards of the Department of Environmental, we also have stricter
standards at NPC, and in case of compliance or non-compliance with these,
points and incentives are granted based on the existing regulations.”
The HSE director of NPC went on to underline the
development of green space in the vicinity of the petrochemical industry, and
said: “This national strategy is emphasized by NPC and is in line with the
social responsibility of the industry and with the aim of improving the environmental
conditions.”
