300,000-ton Arvand Petchem Project Developing with €600m Investment

TEHRAN (NIPNA) – The CEO of Arvand Petrochemical Company said the company's 300,000 ton PVC development plan is under way with €600 million investment as the largest PVC chain in the Middle East.

Mohammad Reza Karimi, in a meeting with senior executives of Bank Mellat held at the Arvand Petrochemical Complex, explained the company's development plan studies, and said: “The duration of the Arvand Petrochemical PVC unit development project is about 3 years and the aim is to turn the company into the largest producer of PVC chain in the Middle East besides generating jobs and creating value added.”

He added: “With the development of Arvand Petrochemical Company, the feedstock of downstream industries will be fully supplied and the development of downstream industries will result in wealth creation, hard currency generation and sustainable job creation in the country.”

Welcoming the participation of banks in the company's development plan, Arvand Petrochemical Co.’s CEO said: “The financing of the project will be in two forms, Rial and hard currency, and we will welcome the participation of banks in the implementation of this national project.”
