According to the National Petrochemical
Company, Hassan Abbaszadeh stated: “The second phase of Mahshahr region is one
of the important areas for the development of the petrochemical industry, which
has provided a variety of feedstock for development.”
He added: "The available feedstock in
Assaluyeh region is based on gas and the ground for developing projects is
limited, but the variety of feedstock available in Mahshahr has made it
possible to define and implement various projects in order to complete the
value chain, which results in creating more value added."
The Director of Planning and Development of
the National Petrochemical Company continued: "The presence of liquid
feedstock in the region is an advantage, too.”
