Bidboland Persian Gulf Gas Refinery Takes Major Step to Facilitate Exports

TEHRAN (NIPNA) -- Bidboland Persian Gulf Gas Refinery entered the pre-commissioning stage with the completion of a huge project for storage and export of products from Mahshahr, southwestern Iran.

The project is being completed with $736 million of investment in a 64-hectare land and is aimed at storing and exporting valuable items such as propane, butane, and pentane plus.

Mahmoud Aminnejad, CEO of Bidboland Persian Gulf Gas Refining Company, said: "This project is the final piece to complete the export puzzle of Bidboland Persian Gulf Refinery, which will make the export route easier and safer."

He noted: “This complex has two storage tanks for propane with a capacity of 90,000 cubic meters, two storage tanks for butane with a capacity of 44,000 cubic meters and two storage tanks for pentane plus with a capacity of 58,000 cubic meters, and a total storage capacity of 192,000 tons.”
