According to Karoon Petrochemical Company, Abdolreza
Gholami, during his visit to the project, said that the progress of this
project is in accordance with the plan, voicing the company’s full support for completion
of the project.
Gholami considered the increase of production capacity and stability
as two of the benefits of this project, and thanked all the staff of the
company involved in the project, including managers, suppliers, contractors,
employees and workers.
The HyCO project, which started in August 2018 as a
development plan for Karoon Petrochemical Company, is aimed at producing carbon
monoxide and hydrogen gas, as feedstock for other sectors. The project is
scheduled to come online in December 2022.
