Appreciating
the National Petrochemical Company, the President said: "The valuable
efforts made to build catalysts for the petrochemical industry in the Petrochemical
Research and Technology Company (PRTC) are a scientific, technological and
self-sufficiency action in the industry."
Speaking on Thursday,
April 15 at a ceremony to exploit petrochemical projects, the president stated that
the obstacles are very important for us and the government will make every
effort to complete the projects until the last day and the last hour.
He said:
"It is an honor for the history of Iran that we have added 25 million tons
to the production capacity of petrochemical products in this one year and a few
months."
“The oil
industry has always shone in the history of the country, especially in the
2010s; if we say that this decade has been a decade of progress, victory and
leap in production and development, we have not said it in vain,” he said.
Appreciating
the performance of the Petrochemical Research and Technology Company, the
President said: "The valuable efforts made to build catalysts for the
petrochemical industry are a scientific, technological and self-sufficiency
measure in the industry."
"The administration
supports implementation of petrochemical projects," he said, adding.
"Petrochemicals
have been one of the front-line industries in the economic war," Dr.
Rouhani said. "Just one of the projects that opened today and took four
years to implement will generate $1 billion a year in revenue at a cost of
about $1 billion. This shows the profitability of this industry.”
