TEHRAN (NIPNA) -- Persian Gulf Mobin Energy Company, with the aim of sustaining the production of petrochemical companies in Assaluyeh, southern Iran, successfully implemented the replacement and material change of glass fiber-reinforced plastics (GRP) pipes for seawater intake of the companies with a length of 1,120 meters and a diameter of 220 cm.

According to Persian Gulf Mobin Energy Company, in recent years, the frequent breakage of GRP pipes of seawater for petrochemical companies in the Pars (Assaluyeh) region has been one of the important factors in stopping the production of these companies.

The implementation stages of this project, regarded as one of the most important corrective actions of Mobin Energy Company, started in December last year, after holding several meetings and carrying out the related studies.

According to the plan, by the end of this calendar year to March 2021, the sea water lines of Zagros, Nouri, and Pardis petrochemical companies as well as the air separation units of Persian Gulf Mobin Energy Company will be replaced one after the other, thus eliminating one of the major bottlenecks of production to ensure instability in the region.

The cost of this phase of the project is over Rls. 1,200 billion and the replacement of sea water lines of Arya Sasol and Jam companies in the second and third phases of the project is under consideration and will be carried out next year.
