CBI Honors Jam Petchem Plant as Top Exporter

TEHRAN (NIPNA) -- Jam Petrochemical Company succeeded in receiving a commendation from the Governor of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) as one of the top candidates in fulfilling foreign exchange obligations over the last two calendar years.

According to Jam Petrochemical Plant’s public relations, the company was officially honored as the top exporter in a ceremony attended by Abdul Nasser Hemmati, Governor of the CBI, and the selected exporters.

Mohammad Sajjad Siahkarzadeh, Director of Investment, Financing and Foreign Exchange of the company, referring to the appreciation ceremony of 49 companies and economic enterprises in non-oil production and export, said: "Jam Petrochemical Plant, as one of the top candidates in this ceremony by fulfilling foreign exchange obligations in the last two years and returning foreign exchange resources from exports to the official economic cycle of the country, was honored to receive a commendation from the Governor of the Central Bank.”

At the ceremony, the CBI Governor said: "Considering the important role of non-oil production and exports in the growth and development of the country's economy, the active presence of leading companies in the front line of the economic war is very important and commendable.”
