The director of projects at NPC, Ali Mohammad Bossaqzadeh, expressed
satisfaction at the favorable trend of development of the petrochemical
industry in the country, saying: “Completing the value chain in the
petrochemical industry is an important strategy and in this regard, completion
of new projects and development of downstream plans would be instrumental in
completion of end-user items, hence enhanced value added generation.”
He added: "Iran's petrochemical industry, enjoying
world-class knowhow and state-of-the-art technologies, while relying on its
specialized and efficient experts and staff, is accelerating in the development
path and according to the envisaged plans, in the coming years, Iran will become
a major petrochemical power in the region and the world.”
A member of the board of directors of the National
Petrochemical Company, emphasizing that “now we must work with empathy and
cooperation to realize the plans,” said: “The policy of the Ministry of Petroleum
and the National Petrochemical Company is to complete the production chain of
petrochemical items and in this regard the cooperation of holdings and powerful
Iranian companies will be effective.”
