Payam Rafiei, the
head of the heavy polyethylene production unit of the facility, said: "The
unit has managed to register a new production record by yielding 308,000 tons
of the item which is equivalent to 103% of its nominal capacity."
He said the unit
was planned to supply 306,000 tons of the item for the year with 35 days of operational
stoppage. However, the unit stopped production for only 15 days during the year
and set a new production record.
Rafiei said that registration
of this record was important due to the variety of grades and the difficulty of
their production process.
He said that the
heavy polyethylene unit program in the New Year would be to maintain and
improve the quantitative and qualitative level of production in the unit, adding
enhancement of productivity of the unit would also be sought in the New Year.
