According to the
company, Jam Petrochemical Plant produced 1.16 million tons of polyethylene
during the year which was a new record in the company’s books.

Khold, head of the olefin unit of the company, said the facility managed to
register a new production record during a year that was fraught with difficulties
and troubles including imposition of the US sanctions on Iran and the
coronavirus outbreak.
He said that the company
had planned to break its production record once again in the current Iranian
calendar year which began on March 20 by removing production bottlenecks and
glitches.
