Speaking to
NIPNA, Sirous Talari, voiced the readiness of Iranian firms to supply the needs
of various industries including the petrochemical industry of the country,
adding the association had so far gained great achievements in localization of petrochemical
equipment.
"Fortunately,
Iranian companies have been widely involved in the development of the
petrochemical industry and completion of development plans in this
industry," he said, adding a high percentage of the equipment needed in
various sectors of the petroleum industry, especially the petrochemical
industry, is produced domestically.
“This is
particularly important during the period of economic sanctions, and fortunately
the National Petrochemical Company and holdings have been well supported by
Iranian producers,” he added.
Talari went
on to add that saving foreign exchange is one of the positive effects of
confidence in domestic oil and petrochemical manufacturers, and said:
"Today, we have good and high potentialities in the field of petrochemical
equipment manufacturing, which should be exploited in the upstream and downstream
industries."
