Jam Petrochemical
Company's operating income in the first half of the year was $68.76 million
which shows an increase of 87 percent compared to the same period last year.
According to
the company, the total sales of the company in the period was roughly 50.54
million dollars, which was an increase of 123 percent over the same period last
year.
Much of this
boost was due to rising raw material prices, an increase in salaries and wages,
classification of accounts, rising utility prices, maintenance costs, as well
as rising annual inflation.
Jam
Petrochemical Plant has so far raised its capital five times.
The National
Pension Fund Investment Company, the National Pension Fund, the Oil and Gas
Investment Company, Tamin Petrochemical Company, Provincial Investment Company,
and the Iranian Petrochemical Investment Group Company are the major
shareholders of Jam Petrochemical Company.
