Speaking during a visit to the Iran Plast International
Exhibition on Wednesday, Ali Soleiman Ghanem said that Syria enjoyed top-level cooperation
with Iranian friends, adding, “We move forward in accordance with cooperation
with Iran.”
Iran and Syria have had many cooperation agreements, he
said, adding Syria was seeking to address its needs by cooperation with Iran.
“The sanctions caused a rapid growth in Iranian
industries,” he said.
The Syrian official who also met with Iranian Minister of
Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh on Tuesday in Tehran, further added that the
achievements of Iran’s petrochemical industry proved that the sanctions not
only had no bad effect on the industry in Iran, but also had brought about some
positive outcome for the sector.
The 13th Iran Plast international exhibition began on
Sunday, September 22 and rounds up on September 25 at Tehran’s permanent
fairgrounds.
