During a visit to the 13th Iran Plast International Exhibition
on Tuesday, Reza Alizadeh said the showcase was being held at a world-class
level converting threats into opportunities for the country.
He said the committee had announced its support for downstream petrochemical
industries and readiness to facilitate solving their problems.
Stating that the petrochemical industry was the country’s number-one
priority, Alizadeh said: “As a special priority for the country, all the government
organizations must specially focus on the sector.”
He said: “The petrochemical industry plays a special role in generation
of jobs, optimizing productivity and creation of value added.”
The 13th Iran Plast international exhibition began on Sunday, September
22 and will run through September 25 at Tehran’s permanent fairgrounds.
