Industrial Waste Treatment Facility to be Launched in South Pars

TEHRAN (NIPNA) – Plans are under way to build a Rls.6,000b water treatment facility in the South Pars, an official said.

According to Pars Special Economic Energy Zone (PSEEZ), Pirouz Mousavi, the CEO of PSEEZ said over $150 billion had so far been spent in the zone making South Pars the largest investment project in the country.

He outlined some of the Iranian Ministry of Petroleum’s plans to save the environment in the area, adding that a waste treatment facility would be built in PSEEZ to manage gas refining and other industrial wastes.
