According to the public relations department of the Persian Gulf
Petrochemical Industries Company (PGPIC), Mohsen Mahmoudi said the project included
crude water, purified water, air and nitrogen units as well as chillers,
control room and power, steam and flare stations.
He said the phase had become operational after undergoing all the
related tests.
Mahmoudi stated that the project had come on stream by the help of
domestic experts and local knowhow.
Lordegan Petrochemical Company is one of the Iranian Investment Petrochemical
Group’s subsidiaries which is being built in 100 hectares of land 55 km off
Lordegan, the western province of Charmahal and Bakhtiari.
The
plant is being developed for production of 1.073 million tons of urea and 677,000
tons of ammonia annually.
