Behzad Mohammadi, who is also the deputy petroleum minister for petrochemical
affairs, told a general assembly of the Petrochemical Research and Technology
Company (PRTC) that NPC would support R&D potentialities of PRTC which
needed to be tapped for the betterment of the sector.
He called on PRTC, which functions as the research arm of the NPC, to
keep updated with the latest technological research and developments in the petrochemical
industry to keep the sector robust.
The NPC director added, "It is necessary to make significant
progress towards commercialization of know-how and PRTC has taken serious steps
towards acquiring several commercial and technical catalysts including the processes
that include turning methanol to propylene.”
He called on PRTC executives to be goal-oriented and work towards their goals
based on their knowledge and expertise.
