During a Tuesday visit and accompanied with the CEO of the National
Petrochemical Company (NPC), Behzad Mohammadi, Jahangiri also received a report
about the challenges in the way of completion of the project.
He called for removing the construction and financing bottlenecks of the
project.
The plant is being developed for production of ethane from the gas
output of Parsian Gas Refinery in Assaluyeh, southern Iran.
The project has so far progressed 76.5 percent in 23 hectares of land.
