Speaking to NIPNA, Hussein Amiri Khamkani, pointed out that the
petrochemical industry played an important role in the development of the
country, adding: "Further development of the petrochemical industry, in
addition to prevention of selling crude oil, supplies raw materials for downstream
industries which will strengthen national production and economic development
of the country.”
"Petrochemicals increase the value of national capital through completing
the value chain,” the MP said.
Amiri Khamkani stated that the development of the petrochemical
industry and the completion of the value chain were among the priorities of the
development projects of this industry, and in this way the private sector can
play a role more than before in various ways.
Vice Chairman of the Energy Commission of the Parliament pointed to
the role of employment in the petrochemical industry, and said: “Today,
employment is one of the pillars of the development of countries, and one of
the industries that contribute to increasing employment is the petrochemical
industry.”
