The CEO of the
company, Alireza Sediqzadeh, told NIPNA that last calendar year, production of the
company grew by 15 percent compared to the preceding year and was expected to
grow even more this year.
He said currently,
half of the plant’s output was consumed domestically and the rest was exported
to several European and Asian companies.
Sediqzadeh further
said that the company was also planning to increase its output by 100 percent
once it solves an issue with its feedstock shortage issue.
“We hope to
launch a unit for production of carbon monoxide and hydrogen next year which
would reduce our dependency for feedstock supply and maximize our productivity,”
he added.
