Speaking to
NIPNA, on the sidelines of the 24th Tehran Oil Show, Ali Mohammad
Bossaqzadeh, director of projects at NPC, said that in the current calendar
year that has been entitled as the year of production boom, NPC pursues tapping
domestic capabilities as a chief strategy.
The official
further said several contracts were signed with domestic producers of catalysts
on the sidelines of the showcase which is an indication of NPC’s interest in
working to domestic companies.
He further
said that the suitable conditions for investment in the petrochemical sector
make it a favorable choice for investors, adding that the NPC and the Iranian
Ministry of Petroleum fully support investors in the sector.
The showcase
began on May 1 and wrapped up on May 4. It was held at Tehran’s permanent international
fairgrounds and exhibitors from 21 countries.
