The project
is aimed at maximizing domestic potentialities in mending industrial pumps and
tapping Iranian manufacturing capabilities.
The pumps are
regarded as strategic equipment used in various petrochemical activities, and given
the fact that Iranian industries are targeted by illegal US sanctions, developing
the savvy to domestically repair the pumps is of urgent significance for the country.
By building the
parts domestically, Iran would no longer need to import them.
According to
Flowserve website, the American company is the driving force in the global
industrial pump marketplace. No other pump company in the world has the depth
or breadth of expertise in the successful application of pre-engineered,
engineered, and special purpose pumps and systems.
