Addressing a group of visiting journalists, Akhavan said his company has supplied over 10,700 tons o petrochemical products over the course of the past 6 month since it became operational.
Construction of the plant began in 2014 and was finished in a period of 18 months.
The company sends 36% of its output to customers in China, Turkey, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, India and Greece.
Akhavan said the plant is currently operating at over 50% of its nameplate capacity but will most likely reach full operational capacity during next calendar year.
The facility is fed by styrene supplies from Pars Petrochemical Complex.
TJPAPC is built with $60m of investment and can supply 65,000 tons of polystyrene annually.
