Addressing a ceremony to revere his predecessor,
Reza Norouzzadeh, on Monday, Mr. Mohammadi said the Iranian Minister of
Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh had specially highlighted the significance of
realizing the industry’s second production leap in his decree appointing him as
NPC CEO.
He said in the first step a road map needed to be
devised for the leap and the role of NPC be defined in the plan.
As the third step, under-construction projects of
the industry should be completed in order for the leap to be realized, he
added.
He further stated that the sector’s staff and
workers needed to be motivated and prepared for materialization of the leap
which requires certain measures to be taken in this regard.
Mohammadi also underlined the major role big petrochemical
holdings could play in this regard.
