Investment in the petrochemical industry is an indispensable prerequisite
for paving the way for the growth of the industry, said Farhad Fozouni, in an
interview with NIPNA.
The official said the petrochemical industry was an important pillar
of the country's economy, and given the Iran's advantage of abundant cheap hydrocarbon resources,
expert labor and unique geographic situation, investing in the petrochemical
industry “is an attractive, secure and growing opportunity for the private and
public investors.”
He also underlined the necessity of using downstream technologies and
creativity in the petrochemical industry, emphasizing that petrochemical plants
could guarantee the flow of revenues to the country.
