"We need to tap the experiences
of the owners of the latest technologies in the petrochemical sector," said
the official on Monday.
He said besides being concerned with
boosting productivity of plants, the sector must also be focused on maintaining
and repairing the units.
Environmental pollution, production of
low-quality items at high prices and competitiveness of the market are some of the
major challenges the sector phases in today's world, he argued.
The NPC managing director said that
the current world administration relies on the establishment of management
systems, adding: "Establishment of units is always considered based on the
three pillars of human resource, protection of physical properties and working
capital."
Norouz-zadeh pointed out that besides
production, maintenance of units is not possible without reliance on statistics
and scientific insights.
