Ganji said, during the month, the company's revenues rose by 20% year-on-year,
adding productivity of the plant is very favorable for the time being.
He said
this level of productivity is a record by itself, saying Tondgouyan is the only
producer of PET and PTA in Iran.
Nearly 80%
of the facility's output is consumed domestically, Taghavi Ganji added, saying the
company's exports are primarily destined to Iraq, central Asian countries,
Afghanistan, India, Thailand and Egypt.
A subsidiary
of the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (PGPIC), the plant is fed
by Noori Petrochemical Plant.
