The deal was signed on the sidelines of the 13 Iran Petrochemical Forum (IPF) here in Tehran on Sunday.
The document considers development and promotion of the knowhow for production of PP and the related catalysts.
Based on the HoA, expert teams from both companies will work out a research-technology deal for signature by PRTC and Norner, said Esmaeil Ghanbari, managing director of PRTC, after signing the document.
The PRTC's Arak offshoot successfully developed and produced PP catalysts for the first time in Iran last year, said Ghanbari.
PRTC is planning to build a 2,400-ton/y PP unit with the cooperation of Norner.
Indigenization of the related technical savvy, promotion of the products, and optimization of processes are aimed at by signature of a cooperation deal with Norner.
