Iran 10-Month Petchem Exports hit $7b

TEHRAN (NIPNA) -- Iran has exported a total of 16 million tons of petrochemical products in the first 10 months of the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 20, earning over 7.3 billion dollars in revenues.

 

A report by the public relations office of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC) suggests that the items supplied by the petrochemical facilities operating at Pars Special Energy Economic Zone (PSEEZ), southern Iran, sold $4.41b of petrochemicals during the period.

The report also added that production of petrochemical products at PSEEZ and Mahshahr petrochemical zone, southwestern Iran, as well as other regions was at an acceptable state during the period and petrochemical companies are operating in accordance with their plants. 

By end of the month of Dey (January 19), Noori Petrochemical Plant exported over $1.67b worth of petrochemicals, topping the list of exporters in PSEEZ during the period. 

The company was followed by Zagros with $677.2m exports and Pars Petrochemical Plant with over $640.5m of exports.

Arya Sasol and Pardis with other major exporters during the period with respectively $528.71m and $266.9m of exports.
